Yeah if I were in your scenario Raf I'd definitely get a pedalboard so that the whole thing can be stowed away with minimal disconnecting/connecting. My pedalboard is thankfully simple due to relying solely on the GM as far as distortion and effects go - no need for add'l pedals. I really just have 3 items on the board: the FSM, a volume pedal (which is in the amp's fx loop), and a Boss Looper pedal which is separate from my rig (I use it for something other than looping).
If you're running more than a couple/few cables I recommend using 'Pedal Snake' to bundle them together. I like a tidy stage area
The pedalboard itself is homemade, it's just a panel material 1/4" thick and about 12"x36". There's extra space available on it because I used to have a G-System on it with a couple exp pedals.
I have the GM racked, along with a power conditioner and tuner. My signal path is:
gtr->wireless (rx sits on top of my rig)->tuner->GM36 (volume pedal in fx loop)->CC212 cab
This is one of the simplest rigs I've ever owned and I'm loving it! Mr Bill agrees!
