I've just finished a studio cover of The Wanton Song using my new GM36 setup and thought you guys might be interested. The guitar is a Les Paul Jimmy Page CA and the sound was captured using an SE4400A in front of the Mission Neolight 2 x 12. Rhythm and lead sounds are both using the Ultra channel on a very low gain setting (about 9 O'Clock) and using the guitar controls only. I'm also using a TC Spark Booster as a slight treble boost. Cheers!

Nice! Glad to see some love for the Ultra with Low Gain club! Sounds great! That LP is killer!
It took me a year to finally try the ultra channel, I had thought it was out of my league as I don't play metal, but boy was I wrong. With low gain, it's simply a different flavor of distortion than the other channels. Not metal at all. I have the gain at about 9:00 for crunch and about 10:00/11:00 for lead work.
Love it! Nice job! Now who will be next to work up the courage...

Great job on that song! I'm a huge fan of Led Zep from when the 1st album was released! Remember, In Space, no one can hear you scream!
