Easiest Way to get volumes set Empty Easiest Way to get volumes set

Right now my cleans are to low, and my leads are to high so, I am diving back into programming it again, but now I have an I-PAD, wish I had a guitar player too, so I could just program.

I find it really difficult to get set volumes set correctly in isolation. Leads always sound too loud when switching between a clean sound and lead when no band. I always make them louder but have to tweek when I'm playing with a band. I wish I had an IPad too, would make the tweaking with the band a lot easier. I'm also have some clean settings at 36 watts and leads at 18

Definite best to set the preset levels at the volume you plan on using the amp. The balance will be much better.

For me, I have the iPad mounted on my mic stand and can tweak and save changes quickly.

Easiest Way to get volumes set Empty Setting Volumes Tricks

Post by terrencerox Sun Jan 11, 2015 7:57 pm

Someone in the forum told me set your clean volumes with 36 watts to give you more clean head room, and set your leads at 18 watts, this works pretty good.
Jus wish there was an over all effects mix to dial it in our out.

Using 36 watts for cleans works. I've set up banks of patches for 5, 18, and 36 watts. I actually like he cleans at 18 watts with my other 18 watt patches. It just really depends on how much volume you need at each point.

Can you elaborate a little on what you meant by over effects mix? What are you trying to accomplish?
