I have decided to return my GM 36. The amp is amazing and sounds great but I am most concerned about the long-term reliability of an amp with so many feature and generates the type of heat that it does. I know H&K says the heat is normal but what else would they say.
I also considered the large number of issues the TM has had (lots of forum posts and plenty of refurbs available support this) and the similarities to the GM 36.
Thanks to all that have posted answers to my questions and the best of luck with your amps.
