    I love the way the Black Spirit 200 head cleans up with the guitar volume knob, but I find that the volume of the amp drops off. How is anyone setting up patches so that you can clean up the gain with guitar volume, without losing overall volume?

    A compressor pedal in the fx loop of the amp might help with those vol. pot dynamics. I personally have a jhs tighty whitey which is inexpensive and quite adequate.
