Tubemeister 18 EQ settings

My Tubemeister 18 is sounding sweet using the TM112 cab.
I found that the EQ settings in relation to the Master volume and gain play a major part more so than other amps. The comments regarding fizz and bass issues seem to improve with correct EQ.
I found using HB on my PRS that the following settings work well
Treble = 3/10
Mid = 10/10
Bass = 7/10

This seems to work very well with the lead and clean channel.
I tried the All at noon settings but it sounded fizzy and not a nice warm tube sound. By changing the EQ as recommended on here the improvement was amazing

Hi the settings suggested were based upon 10 = full on

However since fitting JJ valves the sound is so much better and I run all my EQ at mid way approx 5 ( assuming 10 is max ) or in clock terms 12 o clock

The fizz and sharpness on the drive channel has been tamed nicely. Just before I changed the valves one of the Chinese EL84 valves started to fail and then took out the anode fuse 200mA and they were less than two weeks old !!
Change those terrible chines tubes and the HK is a sweeter sounding amp by a long way

I tried your settings yesterday, although I changed the tubes for EH recently. Sounds nice.
It seems that H&K put really bad EL84 in this amp. Look at my topic.
