Grandmeister won´t save patches in stombox mode Empty Grandmeister won´t save patches in stombox mode

I´ve got this thing that has been driving me nuts for a while now. I have always tried to calibrate the four channels of the Grandmeister so for example the overall volume of the channels are the same. But lately this has not been possible to achieve. I turn up / turn down the volume of a channel , push the store button, change to another channel and change back and the volume goes back to the previously stored patch of that channel.  It simply won´t save volume or eq-settings that I try to store.
I use the Grandmeister in Stombox mode, I also use the effects loop were I have a master volume for "solo-boost" I have also tried to store settings when not in effects loop mode but that does´t help.  Any ideas?
I´ve got the noise gate engaged and also use the red box out while trying to save these patches.

Sorry to miss you for so long, hopefully this will have been sorted out by now.

First a simple thing which you will probably know as you are a long time user but for others who may be new to the amps... Are you using the Master Volume to balance the levels between channels MatsP? The Master Volume, Resonance and Presence are not stored as part of the patch. If so you need to use the Volume knob which is only there to perform this task. In fact the Volume and Master Volume are really just two active level control stages one after the other with the Resonance and Presence altering the signal between them. The Volume is a digipot and the Master Volume is a simple old mechanical type.

    That said...

Are you using the amp with the FSM432 MIDI footswitch or are you simply selecting channels manually on the front panel switch? Without a MIDI controller the amp can only store and recall its 4 channel settings and these are remembered automatically between selections. For "amp only" operation you should not be using the Store button at all.

Also to clear this up, the fact that you use the Redbox Out should not affect things at all. The same goes for the Noise Gate and the Effects Loop. The Loop setting, either in or out, should be stored with the patch/channel of course but it should not prevent a new patch from being stored, (FSM432 use applies). The Noise Gate setting on the back panel cannot be saved either, it deliberately applies universally, but it also should not prevent you saving a patch.
