Hi,
I have a Hughes & Kettner Statesman dual el84, I bought it in 2007. Last week I suddenly had no sound, whatever I tried. I checked the tubes/valves and saw that the left preamp tube was defective.
Today I replaced it and in the distortion channel I have sound again. The clean channel though still doesn't give me any sound. I already tried to swap the tubes without result. Also I tried the footswitch but no result. There's nothing wrong with the leds, they're working fine.
Does anyone have any idea what could be the problem? Any help is appreciated.
