VoodooJeff wrote:Look into a supplement called Cissus Quadrangularis. A lifetime of BMX, Skateboarding, Snowboarding, and powerlifting has left me with more than my share of bumps and bruises, not to mention the joint issues you`d expect. Top that off with a 12 hours a day practice regimen while at GIT back in the day taxed my hands well into chronic Carpal Tunnel syndrom (which I had treated with acupuncture 15 years ago and had zero pain from it since). The Cissus has no side effects and is not expensive, and I will personally put my own name on it as an effective, nearly miraculous supplement for joint issues. I recommend finding it in bulk. Take twice the recommended dose for the first two weeks, which will eliminate your pain and kick start the healing, then go to the regular dose recommendation for maintenance and repair. It really does work, like no sh*t.

Thanks for the supplement advice Jeff!  I will have a look into this and report back my findings.  Thx Man!

I still have not pulled my guitar out of the case yet... I'm afraid to. If my fingers start to hurt again I will be so bummed. But, I was listening to a super mellow song this morning as I was getting ready for work that has acoustic, piano and strings in it and I'm thinking: I can play that better than that. Maybe its time.

Don't think  Evil or Very Mad  - JUST DO IT!  Twisted Evil

Don't expect anything except the satisfaction of being on the fretboard again and you won't be disappointed.

Try Jeff's supplement, he has never been known to talk s**te on anything!  Cissus has a long history and anything linked to Ayurvedic medicine will be genuine.  But also look into the others recommended just in case, I know from my own experiences, (as posted), there are other fantastic natural remedies out there which will help.

You know that the longer you leave it........ Rolling Eyes

I know, I know...  If you don't use it you will lose it...

I will see if Amazon has some and give it a whirl. My fingers feel really great right now.

This all started when I took the first lessons - ever!  I have been playing since I was twelve and never had a lesson until 42 years later. Thought it was time to understand the theory. It really helped, but because I was playing using different muscles it really crimped my style. I was playing better than ever but the rest is history.

Now son...  This is the pentatonic scale and it goes like this...

    Thx Bert!
