Yes - that is true, I found out about this while using my PRS's. They make a point of telling you about using your volume knob to get usable sounds....A we'll designed volume knob is a wonderful thing.... tone knob too! Change your tones without your foot! Smile

Especially if you have the treble bleed mod fitted as well.

I'm a klutz, so I use (almost as effectively) a volume pedal and pick lightly. Also, I use med-hot humbuckers, so I can't quite get this effect on the lead channel, but the Crunch channel I can get good change.

I also should add it is the volume sensitivity that sold me on this amp. I've been looking at used Marshalls at GC for a month. I was completely unaware of these H&K amps - I walked into GC one day, plugged into a TM36, Crunch channel gain at 5, and was sold within a minute. The volume sensitivity put a huge smile on my face right away. I ran home and told the CFO immediately! She was less enthused than be but agreed to raise the limit on my purchase req.

"CFO" - lol, I had to google that one! I often refer to "Head Office" in a similar fashion!
