I just got my triamp mk 3 hooked it up to my mesa 4x12 and it sounds great except for the 3rd channel I have the bass set low but when I play the low strings the speakers vibrate baddly it almost sounds like the speaker is blown but on my other head it doesn't do it its like a fart type of sound and its annoying did anyone ever have this happen o. This or any other amp , thanks

I'd check the amp on another cab, and use a different speaker cable to be sure it's the amp. I've never had that happen on any of my amps. Channel 3 on my Triamp MKII is tight.

Yah last night I hooked it up with a new. Speaker cable and instead of the 8 ohm input I used the 4 ohm on both the amp and cab and it sounded great so it seemed like that was it a while back I noticed the 8 ohm input on the cab was acting weird I had to jiggle it for it to work so maybe it's going bad , thanks

hey, FWIW I had a friend blow the output transformer (the second most expensive part in the amp to replace) when the input jack on his cab failed. I don`t recall if the MKIII has the built in feature wherein it mutes itself if there`s no speaker connected, but it`s definitely something to give proper attention to.
