iPad App preset store Empty iPad App preset store

Post by Fatjac Sun Oct 11, 2015 8:55 am

    Hi,

I was wondering if anyone had any advice to give regarding using the iPad App to select presets?

I am trying to build up, as we all do, a bank of my favourites. I have messed with the app a lot but find that I now have several saved banks each of which contain certain presets that I like.

Is there any way to take just one preset from a stored bank and put it into another bank?

This would help me to sort the wheat from the chaff!

    TIA

If you`re using the H&K foot controller, you can do it manually pretty easily. Instead of holding down the save button, just tap it. It`ll light up, then you select the bank on the controller you want to store that preset in and hit store again.

    Hi,

    Many thanks for the reply.

Reading my original post now I can see that I haven't explained myself very well. I am not talking about banks, which I can move presets around in as you describe, but Memory Backups. When I used my iPad to save the entire memory some of my favourite presets ended up in various different memory backups as I wasn't quite sure of what I was doing initially. Mostly due, imho, to the first incarnation of the iPad App not being as good as the current second one.

So the question is how can I load an entire memory from backup, recover 1 or 2 presets, and then do the same again from another backup to end up with a compilation of my best presets from each backup?

I suspect that this might not be possible but I live in hope!

    Hi There

Yes you can do this - you simply select the preset click "store" and then go back to the library you want to store it in and then store it in that library (in your chosen destination)

i think this is what you were asking i.e. can you move patches between libraries?

    Yes you can
