I have both. Haven’t just never found the time to get into the controller. I have some of the controller program softwares but i the whole midi controlling feels like a foreign language.

I had the FCB1010 that I had been using with my Kemper when I originally got my GM40. I ended up just buying the FSM432 footswitch because it was easier.

On page 12 of the GM40 manual (h t t p://hughes-and-kettner.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/GM_40_Deluxe_BDA_1_3.pdf) there's a table that lists midi controller number and function. That should at least get you started.

Just got mine (FCB1010 w/ UnO EEPROM) put together and am in the process of configuring things as I want them. Check out this thread and follow along as I tinker and discover.
